Worth County makes every attempt to contact interested vendors when requesting bids, however it is not always feasible that all interested vendors are notified. Therefore, bids are advertised through local Worth County media, as well as potentially contacting other media outlets located in Gentry and Nodaway counties. Bids will also be online at worthcounty.us/bids.html

BID SUBMITTAL

One original and one signed copy of the bid must be received in a sealed envelope plainly marked according to the bid instructions with the date and time of the bid opening in the lower alert corner of the envelope. An authorized representative of the company/person submitting the bid must sign bids.

Worth County reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. Bid results may be obtained by request to the County Clerk's office either in writing or in person. Please include the name and number of the bid and date of the bid opening when requesting the form. The time it takes for final bid results to be made public depends on the complexity of the project and the cost of the project.

Worth County accepted the following Bids:

  • Worth County accepted a bid from Roger Robertson/Dirk Groom Trucking for the hauling of Gravel. $5.30 per ton for Tax, Patron, and Emergency Rock then $6.50 for Rip Rap. This quote includes a gravel checker. Any rock hauled from Watterson Quarry will have a hauling rate of $5.05 for regular rock, and $6.25 for Rip Rap.

  • Worth County accepted a bid from McKinnley's LLC for the BRO Bridge Project B113(16) for $647,999.10

  • Worth County accepted a bid for construction of a new bridge on CR 23 across Brushy Creek. from Oden Enterprises for $19,435.90

    Rebar Oden Enterprises $.33 per foot. Sheet Piling Oden Enterprises $20,163.00

  • Worth County accepted a bid for Acetylene and Oxygen from Missouri Steel and Hose.

    Large Oxygen bottles-$275. (includes fill) Refills –$23.50
    Large Acetylene bottles-$265. (includes fill) Refills-$58.50

  • Worth County accepted a bid from the Grant City Times Tribune for publishing of Worth County's Financial Statement for $683.55
  • Worth County accepted a bid for Salvage Scrap Metal Removal from Richard Supinger. 80% of the proceeds go to Worth County, while Mr. Supinger retains 20%.

  • Worth County accepted a bid for the mowing season from the Parman brothers. for $69.00 per mowing time.

  • Worth County accepted a bid for the New Articulated Road Grader from Case, which included a discount for purchasing two graders, so the county will purchase one demo for $193,932.94 and one new grader for 192,017.94.
